Buon weekend pre-natalizio a tutti! Finalmente riesco a riapparire sul mio blog, dopo una stancante settimana in cui ho dovuto sostenere ben 2 esami (di cui uno era la mia croce)! E qual è il miglio modo di riapparire se non quello di mostrarvi quel che ieri ho preso dopo un pomeriggio passato a passeggiare in centro?

La collezione dei Blue di Chanel non mi aveva affascinato mai più di tanto. Diciamo che ieri, quando mi sono avvicinata al corner di Chanel, la mia intenzione era quella di acquistare l'iconico Rouge Noir. Ma poi mi son detta tra me e me... Un buon rosso lo trovo anche da Kiko, ma Kiko riuscirà mai a darmi questa particolare tonalità di blu? La risposta ovviamente è stata no. Ma lo devo ancora provare! 

The collection of Blue Chanel didn't have fascinated me so much. Let's say that yesterday, when I walked next to the corner of Chanel, my intention was to buy the iconic Rouge Noir. But then I said to myself ... I also find it a good red from Kiko, but Kiko will never give me this particular shade of blue. Of course not. But I have yet to try!

Altro acquisto necessario. Il mio Bamboo set della Zoeva (questo), dopo 2 anni di servizio a tempo pieno, gridava pietà. Da Sephora ho trovato questo fantastico set, con i suoi 4 pennelli di punta, in formato pocket. Ciò che mi serve visti i miei continui spostamenti Milano/Firenze e i due mesi e mezzo che passerò in America a partire da Febbraio!

Other necessary purchase. My Bamboo set of Zoeva (this), after 2 years of full-time service, he cried for mercy. From Sephora I found this fantastic set, with 4 brushes pocket-sized. What do I need for my frequent travels Milan / Florence and for two and a half months I'll spend in America, starting in February!

Questa è stata uno sfizio. Io adoro la NAKED, oramai uso sempre e solo quella. Ma guardando un pò di vlogger su Youtube improvvisamente mi sono resa conto di quanto sono noiosa di truccarmi sempre e solo di marrone. Così quando ho visto questa palette con quel meraviglioso celeste e quel rosa intenso non me la sono lasciata scappare. E trovo che la Urban Decay dia dei nomi troppo divertenti ai suoi ombretti ("polyester bride"... WTF?!)! Sotto una foto degli ombretti appena passati sul dorso della mia mano!

This was a whim. I love the NAKED, the only one I use now. But looking vloggers on YouTube I suddenly realized how boring my makeup is, always just brown. So when I saw this palette with that wonderful blue and that deep pink, I had to buy it. And I find that the Urban Decay give names too funny to her eye shadows ("polyester bride" ... WTF?)! Under a photo of eye shadows in the back of my hand!

New in: Mulberry Alexa!

Un desiderio che si avvera. Da quando l'ho vista per la prima volta è entrata prepotentemente in cima alla classifica delle mie Top-5-bags-of-all-time. E adesso che è quasi tutti i giorni appesa alla mia spalla non mi sembra ancora realtà! Curiose? Ecco uno dei 3 regali che ho ricevuto (un pò in anticipo lo ammetto... Ma chi resiste a tenerla sotto l'albero?)!

A wish come true. Ever since I saw her for the first time, she entered in my top list of Top-5-bags-of-all-time. And now it's almost every day hanging on my shoulder... still doesn't seem real for me! Curious? This is one of the three gifts I received (a little early I admit i... But who resist to keep it under the tree?)!

Mi sembra impossibile che tra poco più di 10 giorni sia Natale. Sarà perchè, essendo chiusa in casa per gli esami imminenti, non mi sono potuta godere una Milano innevata e addobbata a festa o forse perchè quest'anno manca lo spirito del regalo a "sorpresa", visto che ho avuto occasione di fare una richiesta specifica... Fatto sta che solo oggi mi sono trovata a pensare ad un'eventuale wishlist natalizia!

Eppure vorrei riuscire a godermi Milano in questo periodo, dal momento che la mia vita da Febbraio sarà completamente rivoluzionata e non so dove mi porterà l'anno prossimo.

Ma non posso lamentarmi! Quest'anno sono stata fortunata: ben 3 cose presenti in questa lista sono già o nel mio armadio o le vivrò a breve...

It seems impossible that in just over 10 days will be Christmas. Maybe because, being locked in my house for the upcoming exams, I have not been able to enjoy a snowy and decorated Milan or maybe because this year is missing the spirit of the "surprise" gift (I have had the opportunity to make a specific request)... The fact is that just today I found myself thinking about a possible Christmas wishlist! But I'd like to enjoy Milan during this period. My life will be completely changed by February and I don't know where I will be next year ... But I can't complain! I'm lucky... 3 things on this list are already mine...

Domenica mattina in una Milano particolarmente natalizia sono andata a fare shopping! 

Mi sono fermata al nuovo centro commerciale Excelsior, in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, dove ho preso il"Be curly" di Aveda sotto consiglio di Clio Make Up, che ha risolto il problema dei miei capelli semimossi! Vi consiglio di andare a vedere il suo video cliccando qua :)

Sunday morning my city (Milan) was in a very special Christmas atmosphere, so I went shopping!

I stopped to the new mall Excelsior, near Piazza Duomo, where I took the "Be Curly" Aveda under the advice of Clio Make Up, which has solved the problem of my not-real-curly hair! I recommend you go to see her video by clicking here :)
And I'm in love with this studs bracelet, which reminds me a little bit Balencia Giant Silver Bracelet (this), but it costs so much less! If you follow me on instagram (@ _alessandrab) you can see how I matched!

Girare per negozi e vedere maglioni, giacche e stivali. Girarsi verso Piazza Duomo e rendersi conto che fuori ci sono 38 gradi all'ombra. Questo è uno dei motivi per i quali l'ultima volta che ho fatto shopping risale a prima del viaggio in Croazia...  E suppongo che sarà così ancora per un pò, visto anche gli esami che incombono :)

Turn through the shops and see sweaters, jackets and boots. Turn to Piazza Duomo and realize that out there're 38° C in the shade. This is one of the reasons why the last time I went for shopping is before the trip to Croatia ... And I suppose that this will happen again for a while, because of exams in September :)

Ho adocchiato, tuttavia, molti trends carini per la prossima stagione. Se volete saperne di più...

Addicted to... skirts!

Se c'è una cosa di cui non posso assolutamente fare a meno d'estate sono le gonne! Corte, lunghe, svolazzanti, dritte, a pieghe, asimmetriche... Sono una vera e propria ossessione!

Shopping: from Dior with love!

Non mi sembra vero che le vacanze siano realmente iniziate e che vi scrivo da casa mia, a Firenze.

Non ho ancora disfatto i bagagli, ma non potevo non farvi vedere che cosa ho combinato prima di venir via da Milano.

Vi ricordate la mia "make up wishlist" (se non l'avete letta andate qui)? Ebbene, Giovedì mattina ho deciso di fare un salto alla Rinascente in Piazza Duomo, più precisamente nel reparto Dior.

Shopping: Sales! Sales! Sales!

Saldi! Saldi! Saldi! E ancora... saldi! Come promesso vi proponiamo una parte dei numerosi sacchetti, bottino di questo felice, intenso e pericoloso periodo dell'anno. Borchie, color cipria, rosso, Zara e un tocco di giallo sono entrati a prepotenza nel mio armadio e giuro che, per quest'estate, ho finito le stampelle su cui appendere i vestiti... Buon Weekend a tutti e rieccoci attivi! Scusate la poca presenza di questi giorni, ma gli esami incombevano numerosi e minacciosi :) Una volta superati questi ostacoli, non potevamo fare altro che andare a caccia... di vestiti!

Trends: asymmetrical !

Se c'è una cosa di cui i negozi sono pieni in questo periodo, questi sono propri i vestiti "asimmetrici"!

Gonne in particolare: lunghe dietro e corte davanti, fino al ginocchio a destra e minigonna sul lato sinistro, con lunghi strascichi principeschi e spacchi vertiginosi!

Ma anche maglie con maniche lunghe da un lato e corte dall'altro... Sembra che la parola d'ordine sia "nessuna regolarità" :-)

Abbiamo scelto una serie di capi low cost e, come siamo soliti fare, abbiamo scelto alcuni look vincenti da Lookbook!

From riches to rags

"L'abito non fa il monaco". Quale frase più gettonata e calzante poteva rappresentare queste foto? 

Ero impegnata a studiare i vari look e a leggere i numerosi blog che imperversano sul web... ma un senso di sconforto cresceva in me nel notare che "lo stilista fa il monaco", lasciando in questo modo meno importanza allo stile personale. Così mi sono messa a spulciare Google Images alla ricerca di fashion icons che vestissero low cost. 

Il risultato è ciò che vedete. 

Con ciò non voglio di certo dire che se avessi la possibilità non svaligerei ogni boutique di Via Montenapoleone, ma cerco di consolarmi e di trovare delle soluzioni più o meno cheap senza, tuttavia, rinunciare (almeno spero) al buongusto!

I was studying hard different looks and reading numerous blogs on the web... but a sense of despondency was growing, noting that "the designer does monk", leaving in this way less importance to personal style. So, I started to surf Google Images to search for fashion icons dress low cost. 

The result is what you see. 

I don't want to say, for sure, that if I could, I will not spend all my money in each boutique of Montenapoleone Street (5th Avenue of Milan), but I try to console me and to find solutions more or less cheap, without, however, renounce (I hope) to good taste!
